AIGETOA-ASSAM proposes to hold one meeting with Hon. CGMT Assam circle Sri N.N.Banerjee in January’10. Meeting will be on Developmental aspects. Therefore all DS/DP are requested to send feedback on overall telecom services & marketing (viz. 2G, 3G, EVDO , BB, Leased ccts., LL,WLL , VAS etc) in their SSA. The feedback should be elaborative in nature mentioning the QoS, infrastructure preparedness & hindrance factors in untimely deployment of services to subscribers(if any). This may please be treated as MOST URGENT. We are also very thankful to the CGMT for his kind consideration regarding the importance of the presence of young engineers in the joint meeting (comprising both management and staff side). In this regard CGMT wrote CO BSNL for inclusion of AIGETOA as one of the representative from staff side along with the so called joint forum.
Meeting with ETR-Assam
CS, ACS (ETR) met DGM (Mtce) shri P Das along with DP (Nagaon) & Legal coordinator AIGETOA-Assam on 5th oct 2009.Various issues related to GEs of ETR were discussed for early resolve of the concerned matters viz. EPF & HR packages.
The CEC Meeting of AIGETOA-Assam was held on 4th Oct '09 at Conference Hall, Panbazar IB Guwahati. All DS/DP and members of different SSA were present. Various issues were discussed and resolution passsed accordingly.
Shri Sudhakar Pathak & Shri Biswajit Sinha were unanimously elected as Legal coordinator for AIGETOA-Assam.
AIGETOA Assam wishes all on the occasion of 9th foundation day of BSNL today.
A general body meeting of all DS/DP and all members is slated to be held at Guwahati on 4th October 2009. All are requested to kindly attend the same. The time and venue of meeting will be intimated soon.

Half day C/L and demonstration at CGM office Guwahati: As per the ongoing " OPERATION SACRIFICE : DEATH BEFORE DISHONOUR" today all the members of AIGETOA Assam were on half day C/L and demonstration was staged in front of the CGM Office, Assam Telecom District. Members from different SSAs gathered there and shouted slogans against the ill policies of BSNL management, and early settlement of EPF issues, HR issues, 30% fitment to 2005 GEs etc. This is again a great step towards the final battle..... DELHI CHALO........
Time bound upgradations cases of 26(Twenty six) executives have been taken up now by the CGM office after continous pursuance by AIGETOA Assam.

Shri Rajeev Ranjan Prasad,ACS (AIGETOA-Assam) met GM(Admin) on 25th July 2009 and submitted the letter regarding time bound promotions, stipend arrears, intercircle cases (Rule 8 and spouse cases) on behalf of AIGETOA-Assam. GM(Admin) has given his full assurance to look into the matter well in time.ACS told GM(Admin) that AIGETOA is fully concerned with development issues in BSNL Assam.

AIGETOA,ASSAM is very thankful to GMTD/Tz for his kind attention towards issues related to GE-JTOs. He himself wants young engineers should involve in all field units with positive approach. All the matters related to GE-JTOs were discussed comprehensively for more than 3 hours. GM asked AIGETOA for producing systematic suggestions regarding development of SSA and betterment of BSNL in general.

As per the meeting held on 20th May 2009 with CGMT Assam, and to get the output at it’s earliest all the DS/DP/Executive members are requested to provide the following data as mentioned below.
1.List of GEs left out from the 1st time bound promotion order declared earlier in the current financial year.
2.List of GE-JTOs/SDEs/JAOs, who has not got the security money refund ( Rs 5000.00) and yet not received the stipend arrears during the training period.
3.List of GEs who had applied for rule-8 for the inter circle transfer after completion of 5 years of service.

The meeting held on 20th May 2009 between CGMT Assam circle and AIGETOA Assam proves that we are moving in positive direction. Our honourable CGM has shown his interest in addressing our issues which was apparent from the presence of GMs and DGMs from administration and finance section who have also noted down our legitimate issues.

CS Shri P.K. Sahu had a telephonic conversation with honourable CGMT Assam Circle Shri N.N. Banerjee. AIGETOA Assam is highly thankful to him for taking out time out of his busy schedule and have a talk over the issues of young graduate engineers of BSNL. We are also thankful to him for showing positive response.
A meeting with CGM is expected to be held on 20th May 2009. All DS/DP, executive members should send mail to [email protected] mentioning SSA wise issues (viz pending EPF issues,anomalies in pay/stipend/stipend arrears, non implementation of HR management packages, inter/intra-circle transfer cases and other development issues like quality of network , marketing strategy etc).
The mail should reach within 3 days positively.

It is a very sorrowful situation that some sick minded associations are now even jealous of the underpaid GE JTO’s ! I want to ask them as to how can they comment on GE JTO’s when they are B.Sc. fail & 10th pass ?? it is to again reiterate through this medium that we GEJTO’s can take care of ourselves & will continue to fight for our legitimate issues till last drop of blood in our body howsoever darn the consequences may be!!
Its really laughing situation that these associations are foot lickers of some guest managers for their transfer , postings & other legitimate issues!! They are acting like slaves of their masters!! But now they are commenting & showing amazed feeling on us getting even 25000/= per month when other PSU’s are giving same talents 40,000/= to 45,0000/= per month takes out the true color of ill minded psychopaths…
I appeal to all those Graduate Engineers who are a member of these associations to have a patience thinking over the matter & refrain from becoming mere puppets in their hands!!!

It has been observed that, despite the order from Corporate Office, New Delhi, most of the SSAs are least concerned about providing the month wise and annual EPF statements. In this regard AO concerned are bound to provide the EPF statements to the respective direct recruited officers in every SSA.
This matter has already been taken to GM Finance, Assam Telecom Circle, for his notice and he assured that all the direct recruited officers will be getting the annual as well as month wise EPF statements in every SSA from month of April 2009 onwards.

Today CS AIGETOA Assam Shri Prabhat Kumar Sahu , Executive member Shri Jituraj Doley, Web Secretary Shri Satyajyoti Nath, Shri Jai Narayan Goyal and Finance Secretary Shri Binod Kumar Singh met CGMT Sri N N Banerjee regarding pay anomaly in 2005 batch GE-JTOs.

CGMT called GM Finance Sri Puran Chandra immediately for an open discussion about the matter of crucial importance. But both of them denied for giving any provisional solution as this matter is beyond the capacity of any circle level nor they are agreed to follow any other Telecom Circle’s example for solving this .As they cannot take over the decision of Corporate Office, they are also waiting for the reply of the letter D.O. On the contrary both CGMT & GM Finance narrated about their personal anomalies in pay which are yet to be solved. But GM Finance assured that the anomalies for 2005 batch Direct recruited JTO is going to be solved soon by corporate office as it concerned with the entire batch all over India.
More over both CGMT and GM Finance agreed with AIGETOA for their justified pay scale with 30% fitment but they are also depended on Corporate Office, till then they advice to only wait and watch.
But AIGETOA will not wait and watch rather it will take some conclusive steps..... if this matter will not resolve with in short span of time.
Regarding EPF issue:
Our CS Shri Prabhat kumar Sahu, alongwith Jituraj Doley & Satyajyoti Nath met GM finance in his chamber regarding EPF issue. GM Sri Puran Chandra thoroughly discussed the mater along with DGM Finance with giving his strict instruction to the entire DDOs of Assam circle to provide EPF balance sheet to all direct recruited executives in every SSA.

In the last meeting with CGMT,Assam Telecom Circle the anomalies in revised IDA scale for DR-GE JTOs were brought to his notice. He asked for a comparative statement of Pay Fixation consequent on IDA wage revision(2nd) in respect of two executives who joined prior to and after 01.01.2007.

Meeting with GMTD,Nagaon:
DP and DS of Nagaon SSA had an informal meeting with GM,Nagaon. Though it was a brief meeting but still the keys issues of SSA were brought to his notice and he assured his cooperation for its early settlement.
The key issues discussed are:
1) refund of bond security.
2) stipend arrear payment.
3) EPF statement.
4) time bound promotion for direct recruits.

Merry Christmas !!!
Formation of Divisional body of remaining six SSAs will be completed soon. Until then SSA Coordinators and Finance Coordinators will look after all the activities of those SSAs.
All the members are requested to submit the membership fee of Rs 100/- to respective SSA Financial Coordinator/ District Finance Secretary as early as possible. 1st general meeting held at RTTC, Guwahati on 19th December 2008. 13 members from different SSAs were present in the meeting. Newly joined members Shri Biswajit Sinha and Shri Vinay Kumar among other shared their views on the vision, motivation and action of AIGETOA Assam. Lot of positives came out during the eventful meeting which continued for 3 hours. Various aspects concerning all GEs were discussed during the meeting.
SSA-wise body formation, enrollment of new members and fund collection were the most highlighted topics discussed snd raised by the members.
AIGETOA-Assam, is coming up with a New Year Calender 2009, suggestions are invited.

After telephonic conversation with GEs of various SSAs, it was decided to enliven the AIGETOA-Assam once again. A meeting was held on 29th Nov 08 at Guwahati which was attended by huge number of GEs of Assam Circle. All were on one day CL/EL to protest against the BSNL management decision to MT recruitment. It was felt that to support the central body of AIGETOA against MT recruitment and to address various other issues of GEs in Assam Circle formation of AIGETOA-Assam is must.
With these feelings in mind the AD-HOC body was formed with Shri Binod Das as president and Shri Prabhat Kr. Sahu as circle secretary.
